Instead of store-bought fajita seasoning mixes, we like to make our own! It helps us to avoid hidden additives (dyes, gluten, etc.) and cut back on the salt. Here is our recipe for fajita seasoning. Add some lime zest along with two TBSP of this mix to chicken, beef, or seafood for delicious fajitas!
Ingredients for Fajita Seasoning
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1tsp smoked paprika
- 1tsp Coconut Palm Sugar: If you’re not concerned with processed, refined sugar, then use brown or white sugar instead.
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander
